Greetings from Malaysia

Hello from another Virginian. I can say that anything you will find for your Rocket you will have to order and have it sent, as I am sure no one is stocking what's available. We all are pretty well getting our accessories delivered. Saves the trouble of a fruitless local search though. Your Triumph dealer should be able to procure anything that Triumph sells.

Welcome @SeanC! I'm probably the nearest rocket owner to you on this forum. I don't know how tall you are but if you are like me, an average Asian, you will probably want to lower your bike with a 11.5 444 progressive. Easily shipped from overseas and installed by your local workshop.

Anyway which part of Malaysia are you located it? There's a new triumph dealer that just opened for business in JB.

Take your time and have fun!
Nice to know I have a neighbor who rides rocket, but it's neighboring country..
I am in Kuala Lumpur and he rocket that I am going buy is transferred from their JB branch.
I know I might be having too much confidence but I think I'll try all stock on the bike for a few months then decide whether I change suspension, seat height, and handlebar riser. I am 5'7" with not very long legs.. I sit on the bike and I am nearly flat footed with a pair of boots..

Hello SeanC and welcome from Virginia. My visit to Malaysia while in the Navy is the only place food was not nice to me. Now don't get me wrong, I love the flavor of everything I ate there and the prices were not bad either. But on the last day in port Klang, a buddy and I rode the train out to Rawang just to see what was there. We asked the train attendant where we could get some good, traditional Malaysian food around there. He looked at the two of us and asked. "Do you want traditional or local food? Traditionally, we are cannibals." We quickly chose to eat local food instead. I had some sort of fish/chicken soup with rice and sugar cane juice. By the time we rode back to Port Klang, my tummy was pretty mad at me. To make a long story shorter, I ended up with four invasive procedures over the next five months due to whatever I ate that day.
I wouldn't buy sugar cane juice even for a Malaysian. They are very dirty. They were in a bucket of water to soak more fluid into the sugar cane before its being pressed. More ROI... Anyway, best is get a local like me and you will enjoy Kuala Lumpur better..

Yeah I figured that out that that's really my only option if I want upgrades..

I'm also about 5'7". Trust me, you will definitely want to consider a lowered suspension. Not only that you will feel more confident, the handling improvement is extremely apparent. Totally felt like a different bike altogether.

Also consider getting DEcosse keyless ignition. It always felt good to just walk to the bike and ride off without having to fumble for your key.

Welcome from another of the Aussies, alway feel free to ask questions but sometime you can find the answers faster with a search

I read in other threads that lowering the rear will have issues with Tyre rubbing the fender etc.. I don't know for my weight whether I'll need to change the rear shock.. I am 85kg.. I already looked at progressive and Wilber's, definitely in view.. but if I wanna lower I'll consider the seat first.. seems like less problematic..
I will only be using the bike occasionally so I don't think I need keyless yet..

Has anyone remove baffle from stock exhaust or TORS? I would really like to have stock exhaust look but make it really really loud.. and I am going to blackout the whole exhaust to make my bike look like a rocketX..

And does anyone has Corbin saddle bags and trunk fixed to a roadster before? I think I read before that the trunk will be in the way for the saddle bags to open... I'd really like to have the trunk because they can hide my helmet away from just strapping to the bike...
