Greetings from Germany

Halo and welcome Jan from Virginia. Keep teasing us with your rides throughtout the old contry...

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm surprised to see so many Aussies around :) Usually I try to stay away from countries where 99% of flora and fauna are capable and willing(!) to kill me ;) I might reconsider that now...

Cr0ft, you mentioned the Phase 7 Lights from Trucklite, I was looking at them too, but they are not listed as direct repalcement for the R3 Touring. As I would need to order the European approved and marked lights I was wondering if I need the metric version or not...

Thanks and br,

Jan We just try to lure people into the country and take them out to wolf Creek for a little trip ,not 99% of our flora and fauna are nasty killers only 97%,:cautious: we have a little cuddly bear a Koala it only scratches and bites and squirts rancid urine on anyone silly enough to pick one up , and that goes for some of our women as well,

There are a few variants, one is approved according to the European standards, so yes probably wise to make sure they are approved and legal. From what I understand, they come with standard H4 connectors and should be plug and play, just remove the old school insert from the Rocket and put in the new LED module with possibly minor tweaks. Haven't done it myself yet though, but it seems straightforward.

Hey Jan, please excuse my missing your introduction, Welcome to the Forum from Sunny South Florida though it hasn't been very sunny as of late. With some of the beautiful roads you have in your country, and in the surrounding countries, I can understand why you're riding so much.
