I'm trying to understand what your question regarding the exhaust is, what I think you want to know is if the pipes are factory stock, factory upgrades or something aftermarket all together. If they are factory stock or upgrades they will look just like the pictures and have the two on the right and one on the left. If they are Triumph upgrades called TOR's, (T)riumph (O)ff (R)oad, they will look just like the stock versions but will have black printing on the underside of each muffler. They will say Triumph Off Road ... for Off road use only, and be louder than stock.

Your VIN number plate should be on the frame below and behind the radiator cap and won't be the same as numbers on the engine.

Thanks very much, you got my question spot on. I reckon they must be TOR silencers then, because the noise is definitely too loud to be factory original (but sooo good it's orgasmic haha !). The bike is in storage at the moment but a soon as I get back to it I'll have a look at the bottom of the pipes, see if the writing's still visible.

Thanks for clearing up the VIN issue as well, the customs told me that sometimes people pop the vins plates off because it looks unaesthetic, which would've been a major pain in the butt as CBSA need to inspect the vehicle in order to clear it for import and they check that out. I don,t think I've been able to spot it and I looked in that area, but I'll pay closer attention when I go back as well.

went to melbourne for a few days and back in rainy cairns for a week then on to port moresby
