G’day mates from Italy

Welcome from Connecticut USA. I envy you your roads. With heated gear you can extend your season. I'm still riding, low 40's F. As long as no ice/snow/salt

Thanks matey. For this winter I have just purchased some heated gloves, that along with the heated grips make the rides a pleasure . With our bikes we don’t need any heat for legs or feet lol

Hi, I'll practise my Italian. One word is BearO, correctO?

Hello Nikmeister. Welcome to the forum, often called the asylum by the unknowing... Congrats on one fine looking ride. I too have family in central Italy specifically in Cocullo. It is on my bucket list to visit. One of these days...

I just looked it up, it’s close to where that infamous earthquake took place years ago. I hope your family wasn’t affected.
If you make it there make sure you rent a bike and ride Campo imperatore . I’ve spent two days this passed summer, roads and views were stunning

Thanks for the warm welcome

Go big or go home , that’s what they say lol

Truth is I fell in love with the Yamaha Niken, and I bought it second hand. As a first bike is amazing, cheap to buy as it has little market in Italy. I knew I would have bought a “normal” bike eventually. One day at the local mall a guy parked next to me with a rocket , and it was again love at first sight. And here I stand in front of the court judge lol
