Right you are! and Welcome. Tuneboy is a quick easy way to unleash the beast. HOWEVER the rods are this 'sintered' material, forged from pellets of metal weighted out before pressing in a mold, and the end cap is then snapped off, leaving a unique matting surface that is rough like a slump stone concrete block. Allows closely balanced rods to be made cheap and quick, and you can't mix the end caps accidently. You also can't take these rods to high on the RPM confidently. (Rods are available from NEV in Australia when you are ready for your first big rebuild). But don't worry, when you get the secondaries open you will have a grin on your face that will last for years. And nobody on this forum that I am aware of has worn out a motor on this beast yet. And some of these guys ride a lot, and some ride a lot and fast!
