I think that is by far the way to go, alot less tinkering, smaller headaches and more reliable riding time.

Just to be contrary, I added the TORS, removed the stock intake, installed the K & N Triples and downloaded (and loaded) the perfect Tuneboy tune all within a couple of days, and had no issues at all and it runs great!

Well I still have yet to hear from anybody at Tuneboy. I understand that Monday was a holiday down there but they have had 2 days now to answer my 4 or 5 emails asking them to assist me in my plight. It is probably me and my computer skills that is not doing something right however, I have been studing this software and its installation from the instructions that came with it, (which wasn't much). Too following there instructions from thier web site, to all of the great trouble shooters here on the web site. And now a new lap top that I started fresh with yesterday and lo and behold , it done the same thing with the same results.
The only thing I can think of if its NOT a corrupt program from T/B is when the dealer had it last summer and did the UPGRADE, that the tech installed a different tune or program or something that is keeping the T/B from communicating with the ECU that is on my bike. And the chances of that happening seem to me as been pretty far fetched.

I just cannot think of an easier way to go ... low restriction exhaust and intake (TOR's and Triples), PCIII (or V) for fuel mangement, remove the secondaries (to take away computer control) and a GiPro (or resistor mod) to manage the built in timing restriction. By just doing this and using the PCIII's D&D-secondaries-triple K&N tune, it was done (you can download that off the web site). The place I ordered the PCIII from put the tune on it for free before they shipped it. So all I had to do was plug it in and done. My paranoia alone forced me to have it looked at and dyno-tuned, the minor tweeks the tech performed at that time were not necessary. I gained a couple ponies by having it done, but it wasn't worth the cost (it could have just been scratches on paper to justify the $250). The numbers that were altered in the tune were miniscule. It ran and would have been just fine without ever involving the dealer.

T, I'm sorry you are so far into it now, I feel your frustration ... at this point you have no choice but to continue trying to load something in order to make it run. Keep after those guys at TuneBoy, they certainly owe you something (like a running motorbike). I'm sure it will work out before summer. Good luck to you.

Terry, I just got off the phone with Wayne Tripp from Power-Tripp performance he stated it is and easy fix as the reason your bike wont start is you got less then 60% of the down load in your bike. I sent you and e-mail to call me so I can walk you thru the things you need to do you can call me at 309-202-1298 or send me your number so I can call you it looks prett simple to me all is not lost you just had a burp!!!!!!
