Any of you experience this?!

My R3 has 25k on the clock now, never been down... kept in a garage when not out playing...

I noticed last week while polishing / cleaning that the left hand front indicator appeared 'a bit loose', but when I checked, the nut was tight... so polishing again this morning - and the ****ed thing fell off! apparently the indicator assy is chrome plated plastic - and the plastic had fatigued... to make it MORE annoying, they are $60 and Triumph has them on backorder.....

triumph - backorder ??? say it aint so!!! They lost the sale to me a while back when that happened on a couple of items as I went with aftermarket replacements.

I doubt Triumph even considered what our heat can do to some materials. That said, I've about the same mileage as you and mine are as tight as when new.

I ordered a new set of grips through Bike Bandit recently and even though they came up as backordered, they arrived in just over a week.
