Hi,
I have a 05 standard but feel the foot controls are a little too forward for me. I would like to buy a set of rails and controls from a roadster and give them a try.

Are the components interchangeable between the two? For instance, between your '05 standard and an '18 roadster.

Only partially the bolts and bearings sizes are different on the brake and gear levers from memory. The gear change rod and fittings are reversed but this is not an issue in itself but you need a complete set with foot controls and preferably rear brake m/cyl linkages and hard line setup too as the fittings and joins may also differ from memory.

You may need to locate parts separately from Pinwall and online eBay etc but easily done in USA for under US$500 for the the lot as you have many more available online than here in Oz and postage to Oz from USA iis much much more expensive than reverse.

I have shipped them overseas before though and they weigh about 10Kg packed or approx Au$150 (US$105) to USA.
I sold a set of early 2004-2009 footrails for pegs to an Aussie on the forum for hs Roadster sidecar a few years ago and he had to do a fair bit of sorting to get brakes and pedal etc sorted. If you get the whole shebang it is a lot easier and I have sold a few that way since for about Au$850 used with pedals footrails brake lines . Pegs optional as many options will fit.

I have two sets of 2004-2009 footrails for pegs not a ABS Roadster set you are looking for but comments etc are still relevant.
. One is complete with thebrake system and pedals but no pegs the other is missing brake lines but has pedals.

The other thing that may differ between early 2004-2009 and later ABS Roadsters from memory is the chrome covers for rear brake m/cyl and heel guard. I have a couple of sets of these too.
