FOBO TPMS

Never an issue. I have had FOBO on my FJR since ‘17, my Triumph R3T since ‘19, Zero since ‘21, and two different Can-Am Spyders since ‘18. No issues. One sensor died and was replaced under warranty, but never an issue with an angeled valve stem. I have T-stems on the Rocket as well to aid in inflating the tire when needed.

I did have a valve stem on a front tire on one of my bikes that didn’t have enough threads for both the lock nut and FOBO TPMS head. So, it let all the air out when first installed until I realized what was happening. Removed the lock nut and tightened the TPMS head down and no issues in 5k miles. A strongly worded sticker has kept thieving hands at bay, though the TPMS gets locked to your account so they are useless to others untill you release them.

I've been thinking about a TPMS, but I keep my phone in my pocket. I like the idea of having it there in case I get separated from the bike in a big off, and cant crawl back from where I land. Does FOBO offer an additional display to mount on the bike along with having it on your phone? Or if not, are there any other brands anyone could recommend with a display to mount on the bike? hopefully small.

I believe garmin does on there tpms. I like the alarm on fobo, whatever bluetooth im on it comes through. This morning down 2 more, alarms going off. Looking forward to finding this leak. At most bike get togethers i see people mount up in the morning and say oh yeah there good, meanwhile 4 pounds gone overnight hard to spot or feel first thing of day, then you ride loosing more, slowly, for me its the most important thing and i need to know, i throw caution to the wind when i ride, atleast for my ability, but going down because of a tire, well, im gonna run some kind of tpms with buzzers when i loose 2 pounds i want to know. But for some, its a pain and 100 bucks, or whatever. Tire pressure you need to know.
