I was just wondering which one of you guys has the biggest rear tire on their rocket 3???? Has anyone install 300 or more on there?

mine is 225X55X16.
Wifes is 225X50X16,
so same width as mine but shorter.

Walleye jig was running a 245/50-16, that's the biggest I've seen.

I think stripes has one in the 245 size too.
I know his is alot wider than mine.

245/55 riken raptor.....over 10 inches of tread on the asphalt.

any bigger then a 245 and you will rub the swing frame axle tube Not good in my book. You would need a wider swing frame and I think you will be having problems. Just my opinion though and I am sure some one will prove me wrong or spend a wadd of doe making it happen. 240 is wide enough IMO

Ok though, the 245/55 should not rub on Rocket III standard right? I am planning on this route soon. I really like the fat tire look.

I had a 245/50/16 Yoko that had ok clearance but it blew out on the way to RAAIV. Replaced with a Cooper 245/50 and wound up with having to "adjust" the chrome swing arm cover. 'Barely enough clearance to swipe a credit card through. It now is completely bald but have a Falcon 235/55 leaning against the house ready for mounting as soon as I can get the opportunity. I'll take pics of both and let you compare the looks. The difference in looks of width is almost imperceptible. I'm hoping it will improve handling by decreasing counter-steer in curves and on cambers. It should help with speedo error, too.
