Error code ID10T.....ME.

40 years a mechanic.....and I'm an error code ID10T....
I have been checking the K&N air filter since I got the Rocket, ALWAYS CLEAN!!!!! I figured the altitude is why it ran as it DID.....
WELL, the air flow actually goes from the center to the outside.... I've been looking at the outside, like most filters....the inside was PLUGGED NEAR SOLID!!!
Wow does it start, idle, ride, cruize and accelerate like it SHOULD!!!!! (Bet I go back to 220 miles a tank....DUH!!!!
 
That is a GREAT find, and a reminder to us all, to trust the Force, and the helpful captains on this site.

Thank you for sharing -- so all of us enjoy even more what our special machines represent, and the associated camaraderie.
 
I see seasoned engineers make the similar type mistakes in their math all the time. Not the ID10T code, just the CYM error (Check Your Math).
