My breeder that I bought my Cane Corso from new I was looking to adopt a dog and he gave me a 2 year old Cane Corso that was used for breeding and he said I could have him but when ever he decides to breed him again he could.
But he knows nothing no comands and has never been anywere he doesn't even know how to go up the stairs, I have my work cut out to train this guy he looks like a body builder I will post some picture when I get some right know we are trying to get to know each other.
But he going to take a while to train being two

dogs are easy to train. the hard part is training the owner. canes are really smart too. i have one. training should only take 10-15 mins 1-2 times a day. work them too long and they loose interest. biggest thing to remember is say the command once and make them do it. just like training your wife!

post a picture of your cane corso I had a female that lasted until 10 1/2 and a male that got cancer at age 10 just put him down about 3 months ago
Love the breed best dogs I ever has and yea there smart and they remember and they don't forget just like a woman I will try to post some pictures Saturday or Sunday.

bagman, what does he have in him Great Dane? he looks as tall as a Great Dane.
I love brindle in a cane coros my female was a grey blue with a white chest and my male was a jet black with a white chest with a big head and chest.
And this one is a redish brown with white on his chest and I think this one has a little bigger chest.
Hows your Cane Corso with other dogs? It took me 2 years befor he even alowed another dog to come close to me even a stranger he was so pretective but there was a few time the people say that there dog was nice and when they chalenge him man he showed who is boss
This guy seems to be a lot more easy going but then again all this is new to him he might come out of his shell but so far he is a a piece of cake.
Last night I decided to bring him in the house and had to lift and pull to get him up the stairs hes never seen stairs got him in the house and he walked around the house for an hour then he layed down.
And two hours later my wife and I had to go out so I said ok lets go he wouldn't come to me I walked to get him and he would walk the other way then I would change direction and he would go the other way then he laid down he was not moving.
It was like hey I like it here I'm not moving and there is now way I could lift that guy, so my wife pushed from his back and I pulled from the front and draged him to the back door it was a sit and pushed him out the door and to see him try to go down the stairs I wish I had a camera or a video it was so funny he all most laid down going down the stairs it was so funny. But he seems like a good boy I kept him in the garage and he didn't pee on my Rocket he and I should get along fine

Here is some pictures of Bruno I tought him how to climb stairs this week end Its just like he was in jail for two years and never seen anything poor guy but he seems to really like his freedom and he loves his backyard and coming in the house he loves it, must be like a penthouse for him.

train the dog not to run after motorcycles i was at bentlley's in maine yesterday leaving the campground with a few other bike's and this little dog come's running at my front tire out of no where. needless to say the dog did not make it .
