DEAR BARBAGRIS

Paul,
Mine Adaptive fit even easier than did the Daymakers.
Both used the original mount ring.
Bear in mind that mine are the dual 5.75" headlights and not your single 7".
I think that Amazon is a good price for that light!
Be sure it is the ADAPTIVE version as they do make one that looks the same that is not adaptive.

Paul - on a "T" I have no idea. The 5&3/4" just drop straight in.

But that is a HUGE price difference. If I were you I'd contact JWS directly. Or find somewhere local for a "try and see". It's one of those things I'd not trust to AMAZON tbh.

Maybe @cr0ft can help - he has slotted JWS into his "T" - though the EVO that was before the Adaptives.

MAKE SURE THEY ARE INDEED ADAPTIVE - this is one identical aesthetically that is not.

I have JWS on the bike now. Othere than taking up a bunch of room inside the shell, forcing me to work electrical connections that were inside, outside, it was a straight fit.

Me thinks it'll fit OK.
Here is page one of the JWS Adaptive dope:

If you want the other four pages PM me an email so I can attach the full PDF.

Guess I never saw these responses before today.
The wiring hanging out had to do with hooking up my Clearwater Erica.
The yeller tape was indeed coming lose and was subsequently replaced with a better grade of yeller tape.
Also, I did clean the dirty pig.
BTW that Clearwater Erica is a bright sucker! Testing to be forthcoming . . . :D

60W of LED I should hope so. 6000lumens - This I wait to see confirmed. I suspect 6000RAW which would be reasonable.

Do not have the equipment to measure lumen output.
BUT, I shall measure Lux at 1 meter and then also at 10 meter increments out to wherever it drops below 3.2 lux or 100 meters, which ever comes first.
Whats you speculation, Amigo?

I dunno - but I'll be surprised (and pleasantly so) if effective lumens are much more than 50% of theoretical.
Be interesting to see what the LUX is at 1M compared to Speakers at 1M. Also what area is covered at 1M - πr²

btw those slot-beams have almost 180º horizontal spread. Really weird.
