sweet LS!! be nice ta see tha pics on tha r3 . certainly look good on triple. did you check out HID availability?? and cost?

LS---maybe we need an "old hand" like charter electronics guru G-Man ta check this out for us. and do a "write-up" on this topic.
--i wrote years ago that safety-wise, a reasonably priced HID "blue-light look" that the hi$$ cars have would help "prevention-wise" w/ cagers pulling out into oncoming bikes.(they were $500-a-pop and higher then tho!). "visually", it's just so noticeable !!!! (that--AND stebel horn fer ears!!) ------??????
---PLUS--as you say----"LOOKIN-GOOD" TOO !!!!!

Happy to try and help, I will use a kit from these guys because I know the quality http://www.hids4u.co.uk/home.php?cat=44

Where would you recommend hiding the 2 slimline ballast ?

I ordered HID's about a year ago.
Got them in and asked on every forum I could find for help wiring them up correctly, to no avail.
they're still sittin in the box now.
I tried to figure it out, I could get either the high beam HID or low beam, but not both.
I know it can be done because our local Triumph/BMW/Victory dealer took in a sweet R3 as a trade in and both High and Low beams are HID.
As soon as someone gets this figured out, I for one will be very grateful.

Hear they are on mine, had them for a few years.
