A fall ride in the mountains sounds great. I went did the Cherohola skyway, Moonshiner 28, The Dragon, and Blue Ridge Parkway this October.

I have a great work schedule though. If it falls on my days off, I'm in.

I am up,for another RAA in Maggie Valley!!! Do it when they have the BBQ Festival that Josey, Mully, and I went to. Man that was good BBQ:D

You got me curious so I looked this up.
What a sad story about the folks getting uprooted from their homes and communities by the ***IN' GUBMENT!
The eventual (after law suit) $52 mil settlement to Swain County sure didn't help the folks that were screwed!
Another terrible example of hooray for the Government - Fu#k the people!

The poster is of a great ride, memorable and worth preserving to me, of the last beautiful fall day with full leaf color. We all met up in Maggie for lunch which was great. Rode down through Cherokee to the Road To Nowhere. We sat and looked at the carpet of color and down onto Fontana and after that we split up for our respective homes. We took many pictures but this one stood out so I had the posters made in black and white because we are all one in the same. Bikes are different, riders are not. Thanks for that day friends. Mully, Rainman and STB. JR3W.

Josey,
That there, "Bikes are different, riders are not." is a WAY COOL line - ya ol' wordsmith!

In Deep South Texas we have an especial class for youths that don't espell so good. Ists learning to espell with Angel. First day we learned how to espell urine- used in a sentence On pay day Paco and me got home real late from the bar and his wife was standing outside the with a pan in her hand. I told Paco looks like urine alot of trouble. LOL LOL
