Chicken stripes??

Interesting, I wonder what the difference would be in the handling between the two ?

The handling is vastly improved.
The broader profile is a better fit with the wide rear tire resulting in more consistent lean control and the Road 5 compound is incredible for grip.
You are are a hard rider and will surely fall in love with it, as I did!
 
I just replaced the Road 5 with another tire. I did like the wearability of the R5, but found that the bike lost some of the "flickable" feel you get once you change tire sizes from stock. So, I found that I had to push harder to initiate turns (makes sense with the wider tire), but once there that tire felt like it held the line really well.
