Accidently tested the stationary speed cameras at Beenleigh this morning , had the throttle lock on and was thinking about general crap , didnt realise until i was past the cameras , speedo was reading 125............... i dont need a fine right now

What a pissser. Nothing spoils you day quite like that. I was day dreaming in my car one time and suddenly realised I was just about on one of those. Hit the brakes and thought I just might have slowed in time. Ticket arrived so I asked for the photo. It showed my car nose diving big time, brake lights on and still going too fast. I paid the fine.

Most of the fixed, including average speed, and red light cameras down here work off sensor pads in the road. You can see the outline in the road in most cases. On a bike you can go around them or even down the lane markings and avoid them.

Yeah mate i'll expect the worse , was sort of hoping it'd be under 120 factoring in the factory difference , also didnt get a flash but im assuming they use IR cameras ??
