Hi all,
My R3 just had its 500 mile service and I was surprised to find that changing the rear differential / bevel box oil is not included on Triumph's checklist. I'm going to change it myself and have been looking at the manual.
As you know, the procedure is simple but in the service manual it says that the drain plug should be tightened to 15Nm (about 11 lb.ft) but the filler plug should be torqued to 60 Nm (about 44 lb.ft). 60 Nm seems awafully tight for something going into that kind of casting, - is it correct? I don't want to be at home to Mr. Screw-Up.
Regards,
Mark
