clown clone what is the diffence?? all i know is i am a lot better at fixing motorcycle's than spelling and i have spent a lot more time in my life fixing motorcycle's cars or anything else but when you have nothing to do but blog on a computer because your NEW bike broke down 1600 miles from home you do the best you can.

Yeah, i know is a bad deal, if my rocket broke like yours did and no patrs were available i would be throwing a bigger fit, i think you are handeling it very well, :)

I'm with you Dirtbagbiker,
I love my Rocket, I bought it New in 08, and knock on wood I havent had any problems in 3 years, THATS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE!

A person shouldnt have to hope that theyre Rocket makes it to RAA, they should expect it to.
If at some point my Rocket becomes unreliable before its time, I would have to think long and hard before purchasing another one.

Mechanical things break. It sucks...but it happens. Put this in perspective. A rocket has a s%!t ton of power for a stock over the counter bike. Sometimes its hard to wield that power and direct it to where it belongs. At least it has a warranty being new and not a middle finger telling you to stick it. Used is as it. Bikes aren't women. They don't have feelings. Don't matter if your 1600 miles away or 16 feet out your driveway. I am sorry your ride crapped out. I hope your at least not somewhere boring...... like Nebraska!

Thanks!

Hello All:
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that responded to my post (rant!)...I appreciate all the input.
Turns out it may have a happy ending...called Triumph directly and was told the part shipped out Friday and should be here today or tomorrow...Triumph was concerned the dealer told me there was no way to track parts shipments and a bit upset they told me it might be several months before it arrived...
Anyway..with any luck it will be fixed by this weekend and I'll finally be able to take it out for a spin...looking forward to it no matter how hard it's raining!!
Thanks again...I look forward to meeting you all out on the open road some day!
Have a great week.
Jim
