    Front axel allen head wrench

I use something like this. Mine is actually two pieces. This one is a little better I think. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Hex-Axle-Tool-17mm-19mm-22mm-24mm-Allen-wrench-adapter-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3a5b8d1803QQitemZ250644076547QQptZMotorsQ5fAutomotiveQ5fTools

    RIVCO exhaust flange covers ?

Yes, Triumph makes the now too. I guess they realized they were missing out on a popular (and much needed) accessory.

What is the best way to cut/trim the Bearclaw?

Thanks Skip. I hope to be around a bit more. I'm trying to get my priorities arranged. Unfortunately the Rocket hasn't been as far up the list as it should be.....

What is the best way to cut/trim the Bearclaw?

Thanks man.... It's funny I stumbled across this post. I was actually thinking that I still haven't cut my bear claw, so I was looking for ideas. I noticed your link back to the other site and looked to see what it was. I'm surprised it was even still there. Good thing I never deleted those pics...

What is the best way to cut/trim the Bearclaw?

Hey, that looks familiar..... I haven't been around much in the last couple years. I'm glad that I'm still of some use even when I'm not around :) ps... This place sure looks different.

    Review - Thunderbike T-bars

I too have a 2006 and when I ordered my T-bars, they didn't have a bracket. I made one up after talking with them and they had no idea it was required. I'm glad to see they have since made a bracket too. I ended up buying the parts to move my clocks back like the 2004 and 2005. It looks more...

    Different flyscreens?

I'm running a sport screen now because I didn't know Triumph had a tribal flame flyscreen to match my SE. I'm trying to track one down now that I know that they make them. I do like the screens by EvilBob, but for now, I'm just looking to match my graphics. I'm not above having two or three...

    KN conversion.

I guess you could leave it there, but the sensor wouldn't be looking at the same air going in the throttle bodies. It would just be stagnant air. You would still need to install a filter on the breather since the intake plenum would be open to dirty air once you disconnect it from the throttle...

    KN conversion.

This thread tells you everything you need.... It also tells you how to remove the secondary butterflies while you're in there. You can leave them if you want. But why?? :D I had mine on the dyno before and after changing the filters. I gained seven horsepower with nothing but the filter mod...

    Different flyscreens?

Thanks MD. That one is called the sport screen. I've been scouring the Internet and I think the difference is that one comes with brackets and one doesn't. Just guessing at this point.

    Different flyscreens?

I was just looking at some flyscreen options and I notice there are two different part numbers.... A9740060-** and A9748045-** The ** are replaced with the color code, but the first numbers are obviously different parts (and oddly enough) are different prices. Any idea what the difference is...

I'm pretty sure this has been covered before. I know Miami Dave has been in some pretty miserable rain with his and didn't have any problems. I've only had my Rocket in mild rain, but I've been in some bad rain with my Daytona running quad K&N's and the only thing I've had to do is re-oil them...

    Ignition switch failure

Kind of what I was thinking about Harleys... I wonder how reliable their ignitions are. I have replaced a couple car ignition switches before. Nice thing there is the electrical side is independant of the key side and it costs about $12 at Autozone instead of $430 for a new lock set. I can't...

    Ignition switch failure

At least mine went out when I was only 20 miles from home. It would definitely suck to be going cross country. I was actually on my way out to ride the route that we were riding the next day for our RAT ride. I ended up leading that effectively blind. I wrote all the turns down on making tape on...

    Ignition switch failure

So I'm cruising down the highway yesterday.... I'm getting ready to get off an exit... Grab the throttle for one last little burst of speed before peeling off... And EVERYTHING goes dead! I thought somehow I bumped the kill switch. Nope. Somehow the key moved? Nope. I pull over on the shoulder...

K&N Filters ok in the rain?

You should be fine as long as you do the 12 minute tune after install. You won't have any where near peak performance, but the computer will compensate for the changes you make and adjust what it needs to.

K&N Filters ok in the rain?

If you do the 12 minute tune after installing, you should be OK. I put mine on the dyno after installing the filters and the fuel to air mixtures were real close to where they needed to be. We tweaked a little and found a couple more horses. Just my opinion, but if you are looking for...

    Brake away vs Throttlemeister

Yes, the Throttle Meister replaces the stock bar end weights and nothing more. It won't interfere at all with heated grips.
