  1. shinko tires?

What model were they? And how many miles did u get?
  2. shinko tires?

Thats amazing. I never got more then about 6 k on any tire. I did try an excedra max on both front and read but they were literally the shortest lived tires i ever tried on this bike. I got 4k on the rear with is 2k worse than all others i've used including the michelin commander II, metzeler...
  3. shinko tires?

Ahh, ok. Had i known they don't make them in a size for the R3 then i wouldn't have posted. Thanks anyways.
  4. shinko tires?

Hi, I own a Tbird but i sometimes post here for certain questions that are common to both bikes. Being 700+ Lbs bikes with a lkot of torque like the R3 and Tbird, they eat tires like crazy so i figure this is a good place to ask. The reviews overwhelmingly suggest they handle fine, and at my age...
  5. power commander tables help

I know i should, but i don't have the $ right now after a life situation thats leaving me to strapped to even afford to maintain the bike let alone put a pc on it. I'd rather take my chances than run the tors tune.
  6. power commander tables help

Thanks for that ! I didn't even realize there was a way to set the res to 250, but i'm going to try running it like that in hopes it's even better with what would be more precise tuning. Also note if i wasn't clear that i am not running that tune as the screenshot i posted. I manually edited it...
  7. power commander tables help

Well, the 80 and -33 are in the 0 throttle position so it doesn't really come into play. He mentioned doing that manually (the 80) to relieve popping on decel.
  8. power commander tables help

I've done that. After import i've compared it to other hex tables from other custom tunes. It is lean compared to them, but on the other hand those are all so rich they gulp fuel and smell rich.
  9. power commander tables help

Wow, someone remembers me, thanks ! Anyways, i think you misunderstood. Tuneecu has a feature where you can import fuel tables from a PCV map into a HEX map that can be loaded into the bike with tuneecu. So i imported the tables in the PCV tune he sent me into the triumph Tbird 1700 tors tune...
  10. power commander tables help

Obviously i can't know that with my setup and w/o a dyno. If i knew that i'd have my answer. But all i really want to know is has anyone ever seen PCV numbers like that or would it raise a red flag as to the *likelihood* that the bike may be running lean? I also have another question. This has...
  11. power commander tables help

Hi. I don't have a R3, but i have a 2010 thunderbird and i thought maybe i could find an answer here since i know some of you use power commanders. My bike doesn't have one, but i used tuneecu to import the PCV fuel tables into a HEX map (same base map he used in his ECU to tune it) of the tors...
  12. Tuneecu question

I understand how to do everything, but i wanted to know if that procedure, IE: altering the map you read from the ECU and then saving it, means adaption is erased. I think you said that, but not sure.
  13. Tuneecu question

tried to get an answer at 2 other triumph forums, but no joy. I have a thunderbird 1700 but it should be the same as a R3 in how tuneecu works with it. So the question is, i know that when you load a new map the adaptions are reset. But what about if you don't load a new map, but instead you...
