Where can I find the windscreen cross pieces and uprights?

Yes, I believe you are correct - I haven't seen an aftermarket screen that includes the mounting frame. I use a Clearview +5 and I had to buy the Triumph Summer Screen and strip the horizontal/vertical frame from it and transfer it to my Clearview. I don't recall anyone finding a source for...

Brothers stock 08 has a problem

Glad it's not the output shaft problem. Does he think low oil pressure was setting off an alarm or something mechanical making the noise? Best of luck to him either way.

Brothers stock 08 has a problem

P.s - What started as a Chirp, became a low squeal then a scraping noise over time...that's when I took it to the dealer. As I recall, there was nothing else damaged by waiting for the symptom to progess (I couldn't find the source of the Chirp either).

Brothers stock 08 has a problem

Hmmm, I seem to recall that symptom years ago - output shaft bearing (back in the days when it could be installed backwards and starved for lubrication). Not sure if that was still a problem in an '08 - mine's an '06 and it took over 15K miles to exhibit the symptom. Hopefully your brother's...

    No tail light

ehh might be onto something - last time I pulled the rear wheel, the tail light wiring is exposed inside the rear fender - might be worth a look to see if it's compromised.

    Neutral light ?

    Great Fix!

    Neutral light ?

Haven't really heard of the LEDs going back but the shifter mechanism can be a bit fussy. Sometimes I need to jiggle the shift lever around a bit to get the light to come on, even though the bike is in neutral. See if wiggling the selector back and forth while its in the neutral position.

So, yet another 'self-inflicted' wound? (I've NEVER lubed the cable) Lesson learned

    Feeling Lucky

Yesterday, after a nice afternoon of riding (adjusting the grab point of my clutch - which started to change recently) I made a couple stops and headed home. I opened the garage door, pulled into the spot where I always park the bike and WHAM! The engine locks up and stalls. Seems the clutch...

    Passenger floorboards

Rivco's on mine w/extenders to bring the foot position more forward...strangely, Rivco still lists the extenders but not the Floorboards themselves; might be worth a call to see what's up with that (also a short ride to Burlington to their shop)

    REAR BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH

Hmmm, maybe change out that dark side tire. [emoji56] Just kidding of course. I thought that was just a N/O switch - on or off. I totally don't get it acting like a variable voltage. Disconnect the switch and jumper the connector to see if it acts normal. Process of elimination in the...

Amen! If you do replace the ignition switch, put this on Before you start using the new switch. I did and been good ever since.

    Wont turn over

There's a good pictorial on the site under the title Ignition Switch Forensic; Mine would start or click or do nothing - the position of the handle bars affected the contact tension on a nearly burned off ignition wire contact. Try the key while moving the bars left/right to see if it...
