    Hi Hegels, Top of my head I would check if the ignition key wiring is solid ( plus wear on cables on / around top yoke). Transmission noise very difficult to guage unless you have ridden another. Good luck Paul

    When I bought the bike and rode it home from Doncaster I was unaware that the fuel guage was knackered. I ran dry as I headed down the A1 . The bike was refilled and restarted by the AA with no probs ( althought I had to wait on a slip road as I couldnt push it. Paul
