Sigh, I'm frustrated. It's really nice here in Ohio and I am stuck trying to get this thing running. I bought two "JD1912 Car Relay Harness 12V 40A 4 Pin SPST Harness Sockets" from amazon. and hooked it up as follows but I can not get things going. Any help would be appreciated. I have cut...

    2007 Classic Carpenter Dreaded Click

I just found the issue after many days of troubleshooting!!! It's dark here so decided to see what the lights looked like in the dark (been thinking about LEDs). Guess what...the headlights lights went on and off when I wigged the key. I pulled the clutch switch again so I had an extra hand to...

I have read everything I could read about this issue but still can't figure it out. I get 1 click when I push the start button. I seem to be able to start the bike in 2 ways. 1. Wait for the weather to warm up and it seems to start more often, but I still experience the click. 2. Put it in...

Anyone wrap a Carpenter race exhaust?

Here is my first attempt at ever wrapping an exhaust. I used 1" lava wrap back to front in a clockwise motion. She's still soaking wet from last night(haha) so I'll have to let her dry before I bring in the high temp silicone spray.

Anyone wrap a Carpenter race exhaust?

I have never had the need to wrap an exhaust until now. This thing is blazing and I'm riding in 35 deg weather. I've watched many videos. Some say use 2" some say 1" wrap. Some say wrap back to front, others say front to back. I've seen it done on the bike and off the bike. What is the...

    Windscreen for my classic

I only have a fly screen, and would like a windshield. Without all of the hardware, seems the only option I can find is Madstad. Anyone know of other options. Clearview, 7jurock an others require you have hardware.

Oil Filter to prefill or not

I've always dumped oil into the filter and used it to lube the ring. By the time I put the filter on, the oil has been absorbed by the filter and doesn't spill anywhere.
