    2007 Classic Carpenter Dreaded Click

There seems to be a lot of different things that can cause the dreaded click πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Just recently I've had that on 2 of my Rockets & tried & cleaned absolutely everything. Would do the rock in gear even & it would eventually start! What it turned out to be was the starter relay wire (black) to...

    Starter Motor

Apparently there's an oil check valve in the sump....which would make sense...but what would cause it to fail??

    Starter Motor

I started it about 4 weeks ago & only pulled starter out as I changed it to one of the other bikes to eliminate a problem. Wasn't expecting oil to gush out & the bit that pi*d me off was it went all over my garage carpet πŸ˜‚ I'll have to learnt to put a tray under it next time 😎

    Starter Motor

Howdy, removed starter motor on one of my Rockets & about a liter of oil poured out πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ I haven't had this happen before? Is there a non-return valve where the oil tank fits to engine? Anyone had this happen? Cheers.

    Belvel box repaint

I painted a silver one black. Gave it a sand & used a rattle can of engine case paint.

    R3 Resuscitation

Bought this bike about 3.5 months ago, was fully submerged in a cyclone here in NZ. Every nook & crany had mud in it 😳 Fully stripped a rebuilt. Lots more learnt along the way. Enjoyed doing it & now enjoy riding it πŸ˜ŽβœŒοΈπŸš€πŸš€πŸš€

    Air intake sensor mounting

As a lot of people change to ramair or k&n, I thought I'd post some pics of where I locate the air intake sensor. Using the original mounting of the plenum I put a straight pice of aluminum & zip tied the sensor to that which is inside a small k&n filter. By the way this bike was totally...

    2nd gear coming out issue

The second gear issue was the same as mine, use to slow change till I hit 3rd but eventually took it to the shop. Back then the upgrade kit was subsidized by Triumph so didn't cost much, so only labor cost then, now its a small fortune unless you can do yourself. I'm going through a full rebuild...

The second gear jumping out issue will be nothing to do with ecu...

    2nd gear coming out issue

They actually made an upgrade kit to fix this problem but are very hard to find now. Something to do with the gear selector fork & second dog gear etc...others will give you a better run down on exact issue.
