    Recommended tune for tuneECU

I found the tune Hanso sent to me to run very rich. I have had better luck with the ones I mentioned previously.

    Recommended tune for tuneECU

The 20352 is the base map for the Roadster and would be much to lean for your setup (Mine is very similar). I have been going between the tune from Martin-Brighton-Uk and John Miller in the Resource section.

    Battery Life

I am still on my original Yuasa battery that came with the bike (9+ years). Always on a tender (have gone through 3 of those) when not riding.

    Insurance?

In BC, I pay the Provincial Insurer close to $1500 annually for mandatory base insurance and then close to $600 to a private insurer for the comprehensive. If I were to go to the Provincial Insurer for all, it would be much more expensive. This pricing is also based on having achieved their...

    Coil Issue

I found the connectors to be weak and would constantly work loose. I just recently replaced mine with ones that grip the coils much tighter and also provide better protection from the elements.

Tune ECU not connecting to VAG COM USB

I have Windows 10 and my cable looks very similar to the one shown. I find it will not connect to the ECU if I have Tuneecu running and then turn the the key/run switches on. I have to have the key/runswitches on first and then start Tuneecu and it will connect every time.

    Roadster Tire Replacement Advice Please

They did. That was also part of chastising work order.... I spoke with the service manager outside after it was done and he said they used to do it all the time in the his old shop for Goldwing trike riders. he said it was just a CYA for the shop.

    Roadster Tire Replacement Advice Please

I had the Road 5 installed this afternoon. The shop included a document stating that they strongly advised the that a rear tire was not designed to run in the front and they have zero liability! The handling is certainly much better than the Metz though!

Looks great! Could you please document your change from coils to coil over plugs? Which coil overs did you use?

    Brake bleeder recommendation

Sorry, I should have phrased that better. To install the Speedbleeders, with removing the existing bleeder screw, would that not introduce air into the system? My concern would be then having to go to the dealer to get the ABS portion done.

    Brake bleeder recommendation

With the Speedbleeders, what stops air from getting into the system when you install them?

    Painting Bearclaw ?

I sprayed mine along with my radiator shrouds with Plastidip. It looked good and lasted well and when I got tired of the look, I peeled it off and went back to chrome.

    Red hot exhaust headers

They will do that with the factory tune which is quite lean. Once I downloaded a richer tune, it pretty much resolved it.

    Where to go next?

I also noticed when I pulled the throttle bodies, that the intake valves seemed to have quite a bit of carbon on them. I guess I would expect some, but the amount seems excessive.

    Where to go next?

The bike isn't highly modified, just a RamAir and TORs. I have gone through a couple tanks of fuel, and ran some seafoam through it so I don't believe it is bad fuel. Battery doesn't seem to be a problem. It has been on a tender since new and the bike starts immediately with no issues. The...

    Where to go next?

I connected and in the areas that the engine was missing/popping/backfiring, the voltage stayed pretty much constant when it started and it didn't seem to jump around. I noted the voltage, shut the engine off and tested the throttle from fully closed to fully opened and especially around the...
