    Well, I replaced all the vacuum lines and caps with silicon ones. Still have the same issues. Has anyone ever had issues with the mounting boots leaking? That will probably be the next thing I look at. Any other places that could have vacuum leaks?

    Speedometer not working

    Update on my speedometer issue , Swapped the speed sensor off my 08 Touring and the Speedometer worked . So I just ordered another one. Don't know why it failed with only 5550 hundred miles.

    I haven't had it inspected or tagged yet , but I did ride it down to the corner store to top off the fuel tank with the original one on it. That one didn't work either.

    Don't think there is a wheel sensor , there is one on the bottom of the motor by the kick stand but that looks okay.

    It seems I have developed the exact same issue you have . Did yours get worse over time ? Did you try to re torque the head bolts. I'm tempted to put some high temp JB weld over where it is leaking. Just curios what you wound up doing about it . Thanks Carl

    Led Bulbs

    I believe they are a PY12. I bought some off Amazon for my FJR . Really bright but you will have to change the flasher relay or add load equalizers to not have the rapid flash.
