    Quick update Spoke to triumph directly in Australia, they seems to think the TPS is playing up, dealer did some more fiddling with advice from triumph guru, reset the throttle close sensor or some such thing, and now engine doesn't hold it's self up while going up th gears, which is good...

    Okay so ho do i rectgify the problem. I have since been told by the dealer that it is part of the set up on the new roadsters, that the settings are different on the TPS, and that the only way to change iot is to change the ECU to a standard earlier model, at my cost of course.

    I have a 2010 roadster, and am disappointed with the the spongy feel in the back brake, my dealer tells me this is due to ABS, but I don't feel as confident on the back brake when traveling at speed, compared to my '06 model with which I had no problems Any one else suffer this??

    Had a same problem with my '06 Standard, had the recall and revs upped, but in the end swapped the ECU out of it for one off the dealer demo, no problems after that. Something also to do with voltage to stepper motor that operates the restrictor butterflys, if not the right voltage doesn't...
