Need Tires? Get Ready For Major Sticker Shock!!!

I almost always have to put 4-5 weights on the front- no matter what brand. Could be the FOBO sensors if all else is good 🤷🏼‍♂️

Need Tires? Get Ready For Major Sticker Shock!!!

My technique has improved. It doesn't take much strength if you use plenty of lube and remember to keep pushing the tire down (behind the tool) into the rim. Front tire balance with http://www.marcparnes.com/Triumph_Motorcycle_Wheel_Balancer.htm Dyna Beads for the rear tire, but I just got...

Need Tires? Get Ready For Major Sticker Shock!!!

Prices are up ~ 70% from what I paid just a few months ago. How this came to be and who's to blame is for another forum, but for now this is the new reality..... This is what I paid in August 7, 2025 This is what I paid December 29, 2025

    Took A Gas Bath

See, you learn something new here everyday :-) Girlfriend would not agree. She made me keep my jacket and gloves outside and shower before she'd have anything to do with me.

    Took A Gas Bath

Filling up yesterday and the gas nozzle stuck in the open position. Once the tank was full it just kept on coming and coming. I jerked it out of the tank and pointed it away from the bike, but not before the tank got thoroughly dowsed and I got splashed, as well. This is the second time this has...

30 Amp Fuse Keeps blowing out

Didn't mean to bypass your question (asking about the OP). Sounds like you suspect the relocation switch. Can you bypass it, at least temporarily, to see if the problem persists? Hang in there, someone else with more skill in this area will surely chime in "shortly."

Also, what happened to the OP's situation? Lots of good help given, but no outcome.

Rocket 3 Storm R - how to check oil level?

I don't think it's what "dealers are doing" - it's that dealer, and it's incorrect. You've now added in enough oil for it to be at the correct level and, as you said everything is fine. You now know more about this topic than that dealer, which would make me wonder how much else he doesn't know...

Rocket 3 Storm R - how to check oil level?

I have not heard of anyone on this forum checking it the way that dealer recommends. We go by the engineers that built the darn things. And, as far as them saying that they've never seen a Rocket consume oil- well, mine does and there are a few other owners on this site who have that issue. Mine...

Rocket 3 Storm R - how to check oil level?

Hey @pabcri - I wouldn't think just 100 ml (3.4 ounches) would make much difference. Assuming you are doing the correct procedure, if it were me, I would wait and read it again (after cold and then proper warmup), then add enough oil to get it in the middle of the suggested range. The shop is...

Oil sweating next to kick stand??

Not polish, but I ran a Google translation and it simply said "leaking leak." Yep

Rocket 3 Storm R - how to check oil level?

Go by the user manual... This is why I do my own work- I don't trust shops. Btw, you can change your own oil while under warranty (in the US, anyway) if you document everything- use the Triumph branded filter, then WIX (same, same) after that. I use Motul 7100 (15 - 50). Not the Holy Grail...

    Windows?

Edit: Never mind- I see you are referring to the 2.3 Roadster. For that, as others have recommended, an old laptop and Windows 7 is the way to go. Four years ago I got a refurbished Android Tablet pretty cheap to work with the OBDLink LX. Works fine and when traveling I can use it to check...
