    Arghh! Should have known. I played (American) football many years and some sportswriter said I was tearing up the field like a wombat. I had red hair and the term Red Wombat stuck from then on. If I ever make it to OZ I'll keep it to myself. No one here in the colonies knows what a wombat is...

    Had a Texan tell me once he could ride his bike (m/c) all day and not get the far side of his ranch. I told him I used to have a bike like that, but I had it repaired.

    Wow, didn't realize this was the ARC (Aussie Rocket Club). That's great though, I live in Washington DC and happy to hear other voices. How's that song go "but have you been to Alice Springs?" I haven't YET. Gotta check the clutch issue, not usually that good with a wrench. Have to find out...

    Congrats! I used to make that trip going to Texas Tech. Now all you gotta do is 250 more miles and do it in 24 hours and you can join IBA. But screw the IBA, have fun.

    Hi everyone! Years ago, I did a tour and was assigned a new Rocket III to ride as I was already a Valkyrie rider. It hasn't left my mind since then and finally today I found a good one to add to the garage. I love the forums for my other bikes and look forward to riding and learning from you...
