    Its cold

I use the Warm-n-Safe products. I started with their gloves, then move to glove liners to have more flexibility. I also use their electric socks. I use their wired controller. They also have a wireless controller. What I like about them is they only draw the amount of electricity you need. Lower...

    I must remember..

I recognize that! My previous bike was a 2009 Kawasaki Nomad with the 1700cc motor. It seems to me the R3T has less cornering clearance. In trying to keep up with @Fingers on a ride, I dragged not only the floor board but also the rail to which the floor boards attach! Does anyone know what the...

Florida Riders, I promise to show you a good time

Sorry to hear you won't be able to join us. Hope you have a safe drive down/back. Bringing y'all's bikes down is like planting your flag in new territory! A sign of your commitment! ;) We looking forward to seeing you once you complete your move to Sunny Florida. Let us know when you get...

    2019 Yamaha Niken Gt

That is why if I lived somewhere where there was ice/snow, this would be my winter ride. I am more of a function over form guy. the other consideration would be enough electrical capacity to run stuff to keep warm. Once things work the way they need to, then I consider the form. Useful beats...

Florida Riders, I promise to show you a good time

It looks like the Saturday before Thanksgiving is not going to work. Any one interested in either Saturday, 12/1 or Saturday 12/8? Historically, temps on 12/1 run 53˚F for a low and 76˚F for a high and on 12/8 they run 51˚F/75˚F. If the temps are too low for a morning start, we could have a noon...

What is the best throttle lock to buy

It is a big job with a lot of parts. The instructions were good. The most difficulty I had was adjusting the throttle. What I ended up doing was backing off both adjusters at the throttle, then equally tightening them until reaching the right amount of slack in the throttle. The other thing to...

What is the best throttle lock to buy

I have the MC Cruise Control and it is wonderful for long trips because it is a true cruise control. I maintains speed within 1-2 mph going up/down grades. If I weren't using that, I would use a Brake Away. Used one on a previous bike and it is the best I have tried of the throttle locks. The...

    Thoughts on moving floorboard location

I have a 32 inch inseam and also have foot pegs on the highway bars. Whether my feet are all the way extended on the floor boards or on the foot pegs, the heat from the radiator is not a problem. This includes summer here in Florida.

URAL develop an electric sidecar with Zero drive system

With a range of about a 100 miles, I could see this being used in a city as a commuter. I don't understand the huge gap between the wheels and the fenders, though.

I would definitely look at this if I lived somewhere where there was ice/snow. I like riding year round and this looks like it would be the ticket. I have been on a Can Am Spyder and did not like how one has to hold on in turns because it does not lean. I have been told traditional trikes...

Florida Riders, I promise to show you a good time

Florida does not have the roads of the states along the Appalachians, Rockies, or Poconos. Mountains make for fun roads. However, there are a number of nice roads in the state, some of them in my area of west central Florida. We will be hitting some twisties which I think most will find fun and...

Question about voltage output and the SH847AA rectifier

Regarding the Duracell battery at Batteries Plus, it is made by East Penn Manufacturing. It has the same specs as their Intimidator and Deka power sports batteries. Batteries Plus adds a two year replacement warranty so that if it goes bad with in two years of purchase, they will replace it...
