    Lighting Question

I have fears as I find it hard enough to not lose the keys never mind an electronic fob. Once I left my bike keys on the reception counter on the third floor of Auckland hospital, luckily they were just lying there on the counter was about a 20 min trip each way. Have been thinking about just...

    Lighting Question

I recently fitted LED headlights and am very happy with them. Am wondering if I can remove the Eastern Beaver kit I have and use it on my other R3 that has stock lights? It will also tidy up my birds nest under the tank. My head says this is a bad idea as new headlights, even though they...

    Is a dynotune necessary yet?

A remap should suffice the limiting factors the exhaust mostly. Would only consider a dynotune once youve done both. Even then money may be better spent elsewhere

    Alarm Recall

I got a factory alarm, fitted it myself (painful). Not to mention it auto rearming even during the short time it takes to gas up. The alarm package made working on the bike difficult the final straw was it immobilizing in a hardware store carpark for no reason. I removed it and even after it...

    Chinese Adaptives

As our countries mostly owned by the Chinese now (we're selling it as quick as we can) I need to "get in" with them. In future my vast Ali Express purchase list will show my loyalty to Chairman Mau and the Party.

This thing is falling to pieces underneath me...

On this, with the other R3 I'm rebuilding at present, I wondered how it got binned. When stripping it down and throwing out the broken bits I found the torque bolt for the rear caliper was not in its hole and think the caliper had moved. when the guy braked nothing would have happened until...

    TPS and ISCV

Only other thing that comes to mind is a poor seal, or cracked boot on the injector body to the motor, but haven't seen or heard much of this as being a problem, removed and refitted a few now and they seat real nice and the rubber looks of good quality. With the large pressure differential...

Attached is a pic that shows all Cyl 3 hoses RHS is map sensor, middle is where evap would go on certain mods (mine never had it so blanked) and LHS is the 7th Vac Port that @R-III-R Turbo mentions, also capped. It is close to the TPS and may be easily knocked off if pushing the TPS cabling...
