I am not sure if they did it in the place. but if so they have the key and the tune edit software for it. Does the old owner have the key? or map for it. Other then that it probably has a PCV on it.

It was not done at Carpenter they ordered the kit and installed it and yes it has a dyno jet power commanderV installed where the air filter used to be, I have never had a power commander before are they any good?

I think the V is much better then the PCIII which my Carpenter bike has. The real question is did the guy send his ecu out or did they get the map and the password for the ECU. Even if they did get the stuff Eric will be able to chase it down. He is the first one I would contact once I found out how the map was installed originally. As you will need the tune boy cable.

That would be the best place to start maybe he has all the stuff already. I believe you would benefit from a better breathing pipe/Header. No matter which brand you will gain.as long as you stay with 2 inch headers. Of course you would gain some even with something like the CES 1.75 header but I believe they might make a 2 inch one also..

Heck you might even benefit from using a older Jardine header with only one Jardine pipe. Just remove the cross over pipe and 2-1 merge collector. You should talk to Paul Bryant as he is also making some quality headers/exhaust stuff.
