Got the werkes exhaust

Was out riding last night in the warm 36°F weather. Coming up to an intersection on a side street I had a kid give me the rev it hand signal. I gotta say that felt pretty cool with the loud exhaust and he seemed to enjoy it quite a bit. Being night time I'm sure he could see the flames shoot out the pipe. Fun times

Do you all with Werkes exhaust notice any less heat on your right foot / leg with the cat gone?

Good question. To get the heat off my leg I went with ceramic coating the header. That knocked off a lot of heat, Then went with carbon fiber heat shields and that also marginally helped.

Thank you! Just ordered a CW full black exhaust along with two black inserts. In stock and no sales tax from Oregon. Happy with my CW on my Beamer.

Happy with the Werkes exhaust. Surprised at how much the stocker weighed.

The bike I'm looking at appears to have the werks slipon installed, bit it's crackling on decel as if the cat was removed? The bike also doesn't have the neck snapping pull in the midband one would expect from a 2500. This is a double post on the same topic for me, but I've got an appt to purchase the bike today and want as much info as I can get b4 negotiations begin.
