I'd say if you love the color go for it! Different is good and different from different is even better!
One reason I ride a Rocket is that it isn't a Harley. Everyone and their brother rides the same under-performing bike with matching pickup truck and Harley sticker, T-shirt, ad nauseam....

It is an awesome color. I wanted my 2006 RIII in this yellow, but few were painted that color. Go for it.

I've just done a lot of work on a friends 2015 Rocket Roadster. He wanted it bright yellow (amongst a host of other mods). His wife and kids told him that if he went ahead with that he'd need somewhere else to live ! 
He left the choice to me, so he got Ferrari Rosso Corsa,....
He loved it !
