    Excessive Wear?

I've spoken to the folks at American Motorcycle Tire, where I buy all my motorcycle tires, and they know their products well. I asked them about the Bridgestone Exedra Max on the rear and they told me this tire is a mid-grade tire and Avon's are a premium tire. told me the bridgestone has...

    2014 Roadster

Is the 20773 the tune that comes with a stock bike from the factory, or does it add performance to a stock Roadster?

    Exedra Max + Michelin Commander 2 + GO PRO2

I find that some shops charge more for mounting & balancing a tire not purchased from them, while others could care less. It doesn't hurt to shop around. I pay $27 out-the-door to get any motorcycle tire mounted & balanced here in western Pennsylvania, USA. A rear Metzeler costs $252...

    Metzeler vs. Avon

Hey hd2rocket3, I'm in the same boat as you with the Triumph dealers being far away, so I remove the wheels myself and take them to a local Suzuki dealer. Suzuki has the M109 which has a 240/55-16 rear tire, so they're used to properly mounting and balancing a big tire. They charge me $27 to...

    Hello From Indina, PA

I live near the city of Indiana, in the state of Pennsylvania. It's confusing talking to people about where I live. :o

    Trouble Reaching Turn Signal Switch

This is good stuff! I ask a question, laugh at the responses, and forget what I originally posted. :D Thanks Gkiller and others. That sounds like a good idea to adjust when I switch on the turn signal. There so much good stuff on this site that fellow riders come up with I thought I'd throw...

    Trouble Reaching Turn Signal Switch

Ha, you two are funny! :) When I hold in the clutch, I can't reach over with my thumb to turn on the left turn signal. I have to lift my hand off the grip in order to turn on the left turn signal. Does that make sense. I thought I had normal sized hands but now you've got me wondering if...

    Trouble Reaching Turn Signal Switch

Hi folks, I have trouble reaching the turn signal switch when sliding the switch to turn on the left turn signal. Is there anything that can be done to correct this? I have trouble reaching my thumb over the switch and sliding it left.

    Replacing handlebar control levers

Hey USMC, How are the lever's adjustability? Are you able to adjust the reach to get the levers right where you want them?

    Exedra Max + Michelin Commander 2 + GO PRO2

Great info everyone, thanks for clarifying the tires for me! I spoke with a different Triumph dealer and they have no problems installing different makes/sizes of tires that stray from the stock tires as long as the sizes aren't altered by more than 10mm. Beyond that they say the handling...

    Roadster Rear Wheel Removal

I cleaned all the old grease off the wheel splines and re-greased that. I did not re-grease the drive shaft. Another excuse to work on the bike to re-grease the driveshaft I suppose. :)

    Roadster Rear Wheel Removal

Replaced my rear tire.... I removed the top shock bolts, to allow the rear tire to swing down and give me access to removing the spindle and everything. Worked swimmingly! Removed the entire brake caliper and hung it off to the side. Had to remove one of the ABS bolts that keep the ABS ring...

    Exedra Max + Michelin Commander 2 + GO PRO2

Some of you are riding and love the combination, but my question is if having different brand/size tires from the stock setup is safe? My dealer tells me that tires should always be the same brand/type in front & back. I talked to some of my friends that race and they always have matched tires...

    Tires

I see some of you say you're running a Bridgestone on the rear of your Roadsters.... I don't see a Bridgestone tire in the right size (240/50 16). Am I missing something?
