    On/Off Switch 2020 GT.

US regulations do require it or at one time they did. It was a DOT regulation that you needed to have a physical disconnect to the ignition, like the old kill switches. For whatever reason Triumph used that switch because they either didn't try and convince DOT their system was good enough or...

Video showing how to change the differential oil

Moly based grease can cause bearings to skid when used in high speed bearings. Moly is good for shock loads, sliding loads and bearings which don't spin at high speed. You also want to stay away from fibrous greases in high speed wheel bearings as they can act like a centrifuge and separate...

Fat finger, should be 172 at the rear wheel.

    Unlocking top speed cost yearly?

One time fee - the top speed unlock fee Yearly - the Tune ECU subscription. If you load the unlocked tune and never play with it again or never need to reflash, you don't need to keep Tune ECU license up to date. The code to speed unlock the bike is in the tune you loaded in. If you never...

    Adventure to a 2023 2.5 Liter Rocket 3 GT

Just on weight alone, each 100lbs is worth about a tenth of a second in the quarter mile, for cars anyway.

    New Rocket reliability

I told him he needs to get a Viking exhaust and then he can run my tune that we took to the salt flats. 172hp at the rear wheel the next day.

I have 15K miles and 2 land speed records on mine and no issues other than I had to have the rear brake bleed/recall.

    Interesting Battery story

5 years here and it is still going strong. FYI I don't leave it on a charger over the winter. About once a month I put it on for a day to top it off and the unplug it.

    Looking for rear Avon tire

The rocket is the only one I have ever seen that non smooth rim bead but then again I have not had a bike with that much torque.

    Looking for rear Avon tire

My understanding is the 888 is for long distance and less about sportiness. I think Fortnine once said about them, heavy as **** and wear like iron.

What jacks are we using to get these things off the ground?

I use a J&S jack. They went out of business but it looks like this and there are other manufacturers which are similar.

    METZELER Cruisetec - Never Again!

The thing with Metzelers is I find they like to run with more pressure. I always run them 40 - 42 PSI and I don't have problems with them. Run them at say 35 PSI and I find they scallop.

    Looking for rear Avon tire

I can verify that they are good to at least 156.5mph. ;) Honestly though I really like them, no issues at all and to me seem to work as well as the Cobras did if not a little better.

Interesting fuel octain discrepancy I found.

I have run 87 and had no issues and it runs good. I am at 3K feet above sea level so that helps. Now that I have a fuel caddy I run 91 because I have another bike that requires it so when I fill the caddy I just use 91, can't tell the difference though.
