    Dead Battery

Storm - you might want to take a look at this thread, I had the same problem recently.

    Additional Fuse Box Question

This worked like a charm - it's under the left side cover. Just hanging at the moment, but I'll get it fixed properly soon, then get some pics up. Appears to work just fine electrically, and its good not to have the piles of rings on the battery.

    Clutch Slip

r34me - if yours already has some miles on it (which I believe it does), I'd go with MD's diagnosis. Clutch springs....v. light (and with a spring constant that apparently varies across units).

    Clutch Slip

I had exactly this problem with my clutch (as well as another, unrelated failure). Took it into the dealer who said Triumph had had some clutches that were sub-par. Got a new clutch assy in. He put the old plates on a table and they weren't flat. This would definitely cause the problem you...

    Kisan signalminder

Re: signal minder Thanks John - I have 'em on my RIII and Bonnie, and will convert the switches now...appreciate it!

Scan of template for Triumph Decal (High Sissy Bar)

Has anyone got a scan (or could make one for the forum) of the 'template' telling you where to put the decal on the high sissy bar? I've bloody lost mine before I pressed the thing on. If so - could you post it for the forum - my guess is that it's not copyright, but I can't remember. If it...

    Blanked off RH switch

Apologies if this has been discussed already. I'm sure it has, and I just screwed up the search. Anyone have solution to bring the space for the non-existent passing switch (the blank on the RHS handlebar) to life? I think I might like to use if for my cell-phone-blocker or for my...

    Additional Fuse Box Question

Right-ee-o then. After looking at both, I just ordered one of these with a non-switching lead. Don't need to bring it to the front, just have too many O-loops sitting on the battery. I'll let y'all know how I get on fitting it to the bike, and whether the connections are heavy-duty...

    toggle switch box replacement

Hmm.. worth looking into. It's better not to turn the grips on on a warmer day. The "low" setting should, I think, be labelled "1st degree burns" and the "high" should prolly be 2nd or 3rd degree. I'm exaggerating of course...but they get well hot. It would be nice to have a more finely...

    Additional Fuse Box Question

I've got way too many things going directly to the battery. Nicely soldered etc. but it's not the right thing. There's a discussion here about fuse boxes, but I wondered if there was a definite best answer about which additional fuse box to get, where to put it and how to fit it. (these...

    toggle switch box replacement

The toggle switches look ok I think - but could be better. I wonder about the rain getting in through the top of the triumph switches. Doesn't look that waterproof. Defintely has that 'afterthought' design feel to it. The Harley one looks good. ****.

    Congenital Clutch Condition

rusty - I haven't brought the warranty issue up with her for fear that she'll look up the one she has on me. I'm definitely out of warranty, and given that I disappear for days on end to go play on motorbikes - I'm prolly the lemon. Still - as you say - never hurts to look at the newer...
