    I've noticed with the Rocket.....

Funny. Yeah, have never been so popular! Also meet a lot of older fellows who want to strike up a Triumph-of-old conversation, which is fun. About the same number of motorcyclists of all stripes, “**** that thing looks good. Have never seen one in the flesh. Is it a 6-cylinder?” If I offer...

    2 tire options, which one

Supra, I would feel a little squiggle when leaned past the snakeheads and into the dots, which served as a “reminder” but never felt was in danger. The excedra rear lays over much more willingly, feels a bit grippier if a tad softer. Really a shot in the arm handling-wise, overall.

    Looking for Triumph Pannier

Ty, Have come to appreciate the bag a lot. Quite handy. It does rub a bit on the fender, over the course of a season leaving some scuff marks. A negative, but, suppose any other bag so designed would do the same? Straps down tight and handily/tidy; has been at “very illegal” speeds often enough...

Seat Cover for GT - Found

Public service: The Saddleman, Rain Cover R913, pn 0821-0430, fits really well on the GT, including a pocket for the pillion backrest. Cost is silly, like most things - $35. Just ballistic nylon. But, it DOES fit nicely. That is all.

    Spider Poop on Exhaust Headers

Experience the same spiders. At first it bothered me and scrubbed them partly off at wash time. Over time, they’ve flaked away, new appear, then they too flake away. So now I just ignore them, but to wipe down with detailer occasionally. Wonder if it’s burned fabric/threads from my jeans. In...

Where do we find tires for our Rockets ?

Another Excedra Max 852 240/55R16. Fantastic upgrade - whereas on the Chromes an input was slow if steady, the Excedra, it’s still a big 240, but significantly quicker in/out of lean and turns. Settled on 40-41psi (up one from the chrome). Has a slightly gummy feel to me, grips same or sl better...

    Tyre pressures

Will just share that have run 39/39 solo, 40/40 w/ pillion/luggage and got just over 10k out of the rear, just shy of wear bar. Front doing better. New tires on Friday, woo! This is with a lot of highway commutes, so flat centered, and a countryside full of twisties and have scrubbed off my...

    2021 R3 GT touring options

First season on R3GT, just crossed 10k mi, lot of cross-state travel and weekending. Can vouch for the medium powerbronze screen being modest in footprint but really effective, though being 5’8” to your 6’3”, results may vary. Also, while my Corbin experience was… convoluted and protracted...

Rocket 3 Upgrades - Queensland, Australia

Corbin. I can tell you this: Beautiful seat, firm, horse saddle-like. However…. Ordered mine in early March ‘25, and still do not have the saddle I ordered. Utterly ridiculous. Awaiting their shipping of their FOURTH attempt to deliver the seat spec’d plainly on the receipt. Surreal...

    Prospective Rocket 3 R owner

It’s both nimble for it’s size, and gentlemanly enough in throttle, to be a quiet country lane stroll-about, and a snarling, voracious a devourer of distance and highway pavement with a flick of the wrist. The mountainous torque makes it either forgiving, or viscous - but you can choose, it’s...
