    Well, it seems I was full of hooy. Brand new battery, still wouldn't fire a lick. Discovered fuel pump wasn't priming. Jiggled the fuel pump relay and it started working. Removed the wires and cleaned and recrimped. Opened up relay and cleaned contacts. A little dielectric grease on the spades...

    I didn't understand, did you change the final drive ratio for lower engine rpms for a givin speed ?

    Today my 9 year old Yuasa battery went to meet it's maker. The original 2005 Yuasa lasted 11 years. Needless to say, my third battery will also be a Yuasa 😀
