If that was the case, he could have skipped the back wheel locking momentarily two or three times on the way down from 80mph 😲

    C-Clip failure...trashed transmission.

The circlips Robinson's used in mine appear to be surface ground, so they don't have a "rounded" side.

    C-Clip failure...trashed transmission.

When I had mine split to do the trans work, I checked that little bolt and it was only finger tight 😲

Starter Click, Rocking to move the crank works.

I just installed the two relay starter upgrade for @RocketlllMan . I used these relays from Amazon. They are nice because they have mounting brackets and the bases can be snapped together, plus they have really flexible wires. Makes for a really clean install.

M***erFing&%$$***@%#* nail in the BRAND NEW Excedra Max!

Ya, I wouldn't use one as a permanent fix. But it will usually get you home. Internal patch plug is the way to go for a permanent fix.

    Dreaded high idle problem

I did a long time ago, it didn't make a lot of sense. It's like the stepper loses its place. But you can flip the kill switch and restart and everything is good until you rev it up again. It's too finicky for me. I wasted enough of my life trying to sort it out. The final straw was on an...

    Dreaded high idle problem

No, stepper is long gone. I got tired of having to fark with it all the time. I would still like to solve the mystery of the high idle.

    Dreaded high idle problem

Not exactly, it's a remote idle adjuster. It's accessable just below the bearclaw. You can turn the idle speed up and down easily.

    Dreaded high idle problem

The thing that never made sense to me is (at least on my bike) when the high idle would occur, I could hit the kill switch, then restart and the idle would be correct again. To me that points to an electronic issue. When mine would start doing the high idle repeatedly, I would do a stepper...

    Dreaded high idle problem

I have a question for the group. Has anyone had a bone stock Rocket develope the high idle problem ? Stock exhaust, stock air cleaner, factory tune.

    Hanging Idle

I added this to mine today for easy idle adjustment with no stepper motor. Something I noticed today, changing the position of the secondary butterfly position sensor, affects the idle speed. I removed the secondary butterflies years ago and set them to 100% open. Yet moving to sensor changes...

    Whirring noise in rear end

Does it do it going in a straight line ? When my rear tire starts getting worn, it will howl when going around corners. Worried the hell out of me at first 😲
