    Not to hijack but how big of a job is this? I'm assuming you shim both intake and exhaust? Do-able in a few hours? I've only done this on small (comparatively) atv's.

    Warp (or whomever), I stretched the spring for a temporary fix (more diagnostic than anything). I'll give her a try tomorrow- weather is allowing it right now but it (fingers crossed) seems to have helped? My question is this. How big of a deal is it to open this side up to inspect/replace...

    Ok, I have an '05 with approx 24k miles on it. Love the bike. I have a sound that is coming from right side, near front (near cam chain IMO) that is similar but different from the "rattle can" post. It is much milder than the sound file on here. It happens hot or cold, probably worse when...

    That's interesting. Cable actually appears to have too little play not too much.

    Physically in the gearbox. Clutch play is a good point. It was right, but I've been racking up some miles on this old girl. Funny, with my other bikes I rode my truck to work :?: Apparently this one is more fun :lol:

    I performed a search but apparently I'm either not good at using this function or this is a rare problem. I'm recently having more difficulty finding neutral. Anyone have this? Remedy? It will go first to second and back, but problem finding the "in-between". Thanks in advance for any help.

    Now this isn't a return to factory settings thing, right? It finds optimal flow, etc for exhaust, etc that's on it?
