    2.5 using oil

Bolts are still torqued and I cleaned up the area really well. I'll go for a short ride tomorrow and am taking photos when I get back to try and determine just what spot it's leaking from.

There are 2 part numbers for the gear position sensor, the old one: T1295432 "This product fits 62 vehicle variants. Triumph: 8 models, 62 variants between 2016 and 2022." And the new one: T1295678 which I got from the dealer. It may have been changed in 2023 since the above apparently ran out...

    2.5 using oil

Now after several hundred miles the gear position sensor is leaking again. I'm putting together a parts oder from Triumph genuine parts and accessories and am ordering a few of the OEM o-rings along a bunch of other stuff since I have to pay for shipping. I'm cleaning up the area really well...

    2.5L Life Expectancy

I'm actually stopping in Conway for a couple of nights visiting friends and then will head west over the Talamena byway. Other than a couple of night at a beach resort on the east coast I'm not making any detours

Thanks for the Information and Entertainment

Tastes change with time and there is no reason to stick with something if it becomes unsuitable for whatever reason. As long as we have 2 wheels under us it doesn't matter what bike it is.

Hopefully it won't cook your panniers, looks good. I replaced the swing arm cover with carbon fiber after installing my Vandemon and with the carbon fiber heel guards it looks sweet.

I have thoroughly investigated the situation and nothing can be moved or slipped in without misaligning everything else including the connection to the headers. I should probably send all that to Vandemon so they can adjust their design.

Decel pops are normal on these bikes even with everything stock they are more angry with the tune and louder with the new slip on.

@rick danger what part of the world are you located in and which flavor Rocket are you getting? I joined this forum almost a year before I got my beast in Feb of '24 reading lots of threads and asking questions ahead of time.

The stock exhaust/cat assembly is one unit and the separation between so called mufflers is an illusion. It's a completely different design from Vandemon which come with right/left side real mufflers and none of the components are interchangeable. The "basic" kit I got without the bi-modal...

That may be so but we don't have hobbits and orcs over here.

Pass on that one I'm not into the iron butt challenge, my segments are 5-700mi which is just right. An oil and rear tire change on the other side and a couple of nights at a beach resort before heading back.

    2.5L Life Expectancy

I've been contemplating a 7k mile round trip from CA to Cape Cod and back for next May and now the idea of putting that many miles on the bike in 2 weeks is not an issue any more at least.

I wonder if that clutch being installed wrong has anything to do with this Question about Noise while releasing clutch 🤔

I'm trying to get a general feel for the longevity of our beasts given the following conditions. - I've put 11k miles on my 23' R which I bought last year February - I let it warm up a bit before each ride - I don't start ripping on the throttle until I've been riding for a few miles - I change...
