Since Triumph does it all online the game has changed. But BT-Moto still does the job. In the long run an aftermarket ECU will probably be the only way...

    Sounds loke they did a good job. The lower the revs and the throttle opening, the more the lean stock 14.5 afr becomes an issue. A decent map is not just about wot.

    The unrestricted map will work with the decat. It will probably run too rich in the low revs. But that won´t do any harm. Mid and high range will be good. As the O2 sensor is mostly deactivated to not interfere with the improvements, it will not be able to make any adjustments.

    Not sure about the actual conditions when you purchase Tune-ECU. But if you once got the map loaded into your ECU , it will stay there and won´t reset to stock after one year. Just make sure your dealer does not make any updates.

    I am pretty sure, that the BT-Moto Tuner will do a good job. Being the only ones to get into that ECU is by far the hardest part.

    Easiest way is to connect your bike to Tune ECU. It will show the number of your stock map. Then look for the corresponding map at Tune ECU custom maps section. I am pretty sure I made one for Australian market. As far as your exhaust is concerned you should do at least a dyno run and watch AFR...

    Since Euro5+ it is common to have two O2 sensors before/after cat. You can weld in an adapter for a second sensor. Not that big of a deal. Tune ECU won´t work on the Storm models.

    If you don´t like the popping, set the 0% column in the ETV tables a little higher from top to 1500rpm. Engine break will be reduced a little, but you might even like it. Prost Ulf
