    Well, I attempted to fix it per the above diagram, when I removed the fly screen, it did not seem to match the diagram. I could not find the hose. I guess I survived all these years without one, I can continue to do so. :)

    Thanks, I tried that, but the bike leans too much forward and seems unstable. I was hoping I can use the points shown in the attached picture as the bike is much more stable with that configuration. I guess I can use the recommended points a floor jack to provide the stability.

    Hi; I just acquired a Sears Craftsman lift. I find the most stable position to raise the bike per the attached picture (basically the rear side just in front of the muffler). Are there any issues I should be aware of, or areas I should not make contact with? Thanks.

    That is what I thought and told them so. They claimed that is not the case. I just came back from the dealer, they said they will do it as a good will measure at their expense. Will see if that takes care of it.

  12. Fuel gushing from filler cap

    Update: I disassembled the gas gap and cleaned it. It had the white residue I mentioned earlier under the white diaphragm. If filled it up (not too much) and tried it again. So far so good.
