Oil change - that old chestnut again

Hi Timbo… as long as its motorcycle oil its fine and 5.5 litres is about right.. you can always top it up later.. I used motul oil last time and got enough off eblag for £40 with the filter. Mines due a change soon so how much was it from Halfrauds?

    10.5:1 piston & lush cams

I personally would buy some new ones and fit em… otherwise id always have a nagging what if thought going through my mind.. chances are they could be ok, but you have done all this work … be a shame if one didn't hold.

    Lost back brakes

Wow I have never had zero brakes even when my bikes have been laid up for the winter.... I suggest you strip and rebuild them if that's the case as something must be wrong....

    Gear Lever Adjustment

My 08 classic has the heel toe shifter and boards and I love it..its the first time ive ever used one... Boards are a little flat for me and I was wanting to adjust them up for more of an angle to make it better for my feet... but they don't appear to be adjustable.. but apart from that they are...

All of of a sudden no start/ stand safety switch

Sounds to me like you need a new clutch switch.. If it ran when you bypassed it theres your problem, as for it cutting out with clutch in a sidestand down its meant to... stops you riding away with the stand down.

    Tune ECU and battery

I just leave my optimate plugged in when using Tune ECU and have never had a problem. It doesn't take that long to read and upload the maps. Remove the headlight fuses as it tells you in the instructions and all will be well. Has the cat been removed? Im not sure if they are in the exhausts on...

    Fuel Gauge

To be honest I wouldn't bother, as the accuracy of them is marginal at best... Mine may be better when I get into the tank and bend the float arm a bit...when it shows empty and fuel light on I still have half a tank left...I just fill up every 180 miles n never had a problem...

    '14 R3R Transmission Failure

Ive ridden both new wings auto and manual.... I had a Gl1800 before my rocket... and only sold it as it was a little top heavy for me. New wing auto box is great around town its just like a big scooter... but on the twisty roads it can sometimes throw you a curved ball by changing up or down mid...

    Heated grips options

My Triumph grips are great.. 2 stage and both work and were fitted at the factory new in 2008... had 2 sets of oxfords now on my other bikes and both went the same way... would only run flat out or not at all .. so im not really impressed with them im afraid.
