    No you don't need to. You might want to at some point. I had his kind of up-date for my Tiger 900 GT. The new version was on the TuneECU App tune lists. Look for yours.

    If I remember right, V-Steel did a little research on the stock filter and either a K&N or DNA. The result was the stock filter breathes more than is needed by the engine. He decided not to change it for our Bonneville Record runs.

    I have taken some of my other bikes exhaust to a weld shop. They can remove the cat and weld it back together like new.

    Nice story. Goes to show that with $135 to $150 plus per hour we are charged, the techs are getting screwed. Pay the man a hourly living wage straight away. And also give him a monthly stipend for his tools.

    FYI: The TORS mufflers are several inches shorter than standard mufflers. I have a set of booth TORS and Standard and also the cat eliminator pipe.

    @1olbull has been running this combination for a very long time. He says it works great. He is an aggressive rider who loves high speed and twisties. Remember the 150/70ZR-17 is a rear tire. You have to turn it around on the front for braking grip. Give it a try.
