  1. Single K&N vs 3 K&N filters

I tried the filters turned in a bunch of different positions and even with them pushed all the way down on the flange the mount was still about an inch away from fitting. Wish I still had my welder and pipe benders, would save me a ton on new headers and y pipe.
  2. Single K&N vs 3 K&N filters

So there are no cats in the exhaust except in the stock silencers?
  3. Single K&N vs 3 K&N filters

Found an easy way to get the crank case hose off if (like my case) you can't get anything on the clamp. Take an 18 or 19 millimeter wrench, put the open end under the clamp and and wiggle each side of the wrench up and down and push off the hose. Worked like a charm in no time. Same goes for the...
  4. Single K&N vs 3 K&N filters

I had the crank case and air temp filter backwards but they are on the right way now. Even with the filter turned the back filter still hit against the bearclaw. Not too much pressure on it and is assume after a while the filter will mould to that shape. Now tofu d a cat delete for the roadster...
  5. Single K&N vs 3 K&N filters

Ok, just seemed like the one filter had a bunch of pressure from the bear claw. After looking at all the stuff that would need to be relocated the box under the seat is staying. Thanks

Well I am not on the forums much but here is my $.02. Just installed the tripe 2780's but couldn't get the bear claw to fit back on my 12 roadster. I have the TORS and the tuneecu tune for triples and TORS with full open secondaries and fifth gear map in all gears. I was running this tune with...

The 20355 kn TORS has alot more fuel and the O2 sensor unchecked. The 20355map2 is the stock map with open secondaries and fifth gear mapping in all gears.

Tried the 20355 kn TORS map made by Bruce yesterday. That map was pretty gnarly. Trying the 20355 map2 by Leif today. Kinda like Bruce's better. Ran a little rough at idle but was snappier on the throttle.

Yes and yes. It would read the map it had no problem but wouldn't download a new one or so recovery mode without the fuses back in. Goin to try a different map tonight that looks better suited for me and I will leave the fuses in for the whole process and see if it works without issue again.

Got my cable today. Hooked everything up and saved my old map. Went to put the new one in and it kept timing out or locking up so I thought I had the wrong cable from what the manual says to do. Tried reinstalling drivers and rebooting but still couldn't get it to work. Recovery mode kept...

Okay, I haven't gotten my cable yet so I haven't made any changes. I miss read what a few of you were saying the other day, but after reading the manual for TuneECU (something I wish I had done days ago, would have made everything yall are saying a lot easier to understand. Thanks barbagris) I...

So with a map from TuneECU if I keep the o2 sensor hooked up it will run lean? If so I may as well take the cat out of it too right?
  13. TuneECU recommendations.

Should have my cable for TuneECU in the next few days. Going to give that a try and see how it goes. Even with the different maps wouldn't the ecu try to compensate for afr's with the O2 sensors reading the output?

Thanks for the info dougl. If you can compare tunes with TuneECU I could probably try a few different maps to get the one with the fuel closest to what it is now just with open secondaries. I just love the torque in fifth and want to see what its like in all the gears without having to drop a...

They didn't say the tune would do that. I can still feel it holding back in lower gears. Would the tune for the 2013 with TORS work on a 2011? if so that would be the easiest thing to do I would guess.
