    Mick,they have an internal thread(m6) which locates them against a shoulder, like the Bonnevilles. I assume you're thinking about an external m10 thread screwing into the switch housing?

    Two problems with what they say in that video. Marking the insulator like that will encourage tracking/flashover of the H.T. to earth. You may have done that with a soft black pencil to sabotage someone in the past........... Spacing the plug back out of the head like that will increase the...

    People have been discussing and trying this since the first spark plug and so far no hard evidence has been produced to show that it makes any difference at all either way. In my younger days I worked for Champion and got asked this a lot!
