    i love these threads... furthest ive gone on a tank is 251 us miles. put 6.17 us gallons in the tank. still need to run out of gas to see how far i can go. right now i fill up at 240 miles. and my speeds range from 25 in town to 70 and higher on the hiway. my commute to work and back...

    sorry to bring this one up again, but the hp loss is a constant and differs from bike to bike. saying that it is a % of hp., would lead one to think that it changes when you increase your hp. you can figure on a stock bike it could be from 10 to possibly 15 % and that is it. (shaft drive)...

    basicly, once you have a green light flashing in the lower right corner you are safe to start the bike.

    dont forget to clean your engine speed sensor. they are magnetic and tend to collect metal shavings (filings) and can cause this problem.

    that might help also check to see what he did with the ign. timing. if the timing is altered too much at 0 throttle then that can also screw with the idle. might also want to check that there are no vaccuum leaks.

    TIRE PRESSURE, AIR FILTER, HOW YOU RIDING STYLE(HEAVY HAND) AND BRAND OF GAS CAN LOTS OF ACCESSORIES AND EVEN RIDER WIEGHT ALSO EFFECT FUEL MILAGE. MY FUEL MILLAGE HAS BEEN AS LOW AS 28MPG.:mad: SINCE USING TUNE ECU I HAVE RAISED MY MPG TO 42, WITHOUT CHANGING MY RIDING STYLE.:D
